
My husband, Michael, was my first motivation to get off the couch and get active last year. He decided that he would run his first marathon this January.
His dedication is what got me up and jogging and I ran my first 5k last year.
This year I am reaching for the stars. I ran my second 5k in January and my first triathlon in May. Now I am training for my first half marathon in September and then my first marathon next January with my husband! The sense of accomplishment is what makes me get up and go everyday, whether it is running your personal best or finishing distances you have never reached before. It becomes addicting once you get a taste of it. |
